Welcome to Cape Cod Pediatrics

Our practice consists of Board Certified Pediatricians and Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
Nurse Practitioners have completed a Master's Degree in nursing, specializing in pediatrics.
They see patients on their own, write prescriptions, and always consult with our doctors, if needed.

If necessary, our doctors admit to Falmouth Hospital.
For more acute cases, we refer to many Boston Hospitals!

Announcing a New Electronic Health Record System

We are excited to announce that on June 4th, 2024, Cape Cod Pediatrics switched to a new electronic health record system to greatly improve your child's experience at our office. While we adjust to this new system, things like checking in-and-out at the office and visiting with your child's provider may take longer, and some of our office procedures may be a little different the next time you visit. We apologize for the inconvenience.

One great advantage of our new system is access to MyChart, our patient portal.

MyChart is where you will be completing the screening forms for physicals as well as other appointments, requesting refills, having Telehealth visits, and will have the ability to send messages to your child's provider. It also allows you to view your child's medical records, including notes from medical visits and lab tests, get past immunization history, view and pay your bill online, and even download camp and sports forms.

Thank you for your patience during this time!

Announcing New Affiliation with Boston Children's Hospital

Cape Cod Pediatrics proudly announces its new affiliation with Boston Children's Hospital and membership of the Boston Children's Pediatric Physicians' Organization (PPOC) effective January 1, 2024.

Benefits of this partnership include adjunct status at Boston Children's Hospital for our providers, and direct provider access to medical notes from your visits to Children's. The association will also assist us in transitioning to the Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system in June 2024. Epic will allow Cape Cod Pediatrics to communicate more efficiently with our weekend On-Call partners. Other pediatric centered quality improvement projects will also be supported by our new affiliation which will allow access to many beneficial educational resources for our individual patients and families.

MyChart

Effective June 4th, we are now using MyChart instead of the patient portal through our previous Electronic Health Record (Athena).

To access MyChart:

On your computer, go to:  https://mychart.chppoc.org/COD/Authentication/Login

On your phone, download the MyChart app through the Apple App Store (for iOS users) or Google Play store (for Android device users). Once you have downloaded the app, select Add organization and search PPOC.

To set up your MyChart account:

  1. Click the activation link in the email that was sent by the office.
  2. Create a Username. It may make a username for you; you can choose to keep it or change it.
  3. Create your password.
  4. Enter date of birth. For parents creating MyChart accounts, it will be your date of birth. For patients who are 13 and up creating their MyChart, it will be their date of birth.
  5. The email address is the email that we sent the sign up information to.
  6. Review the Terms and Conditions of Use and click Accept.

Some patients may have already received an email to set up your My Chart account. If you have not received an email and would like to create an account, please call the office to do so.

Please note, patients ages 13-17 will have to create their own MyChart accounts. Parents can still have limited access to these accounts.
